Wicked!

My sisters, nieces, daughter, and I went to see "Wicked" on 4-9-09. Isn't that a wicked date?
TOP ROW: Monica MIDDLE ROW: Erica, Linda, and Nancy BOTTOM ROW: Angela & Katie

Erica's Tia Nancy purchased her ticket for her graduation gift. Tia Linda purchased an elegant necklace and earring set from the Wicked kiosk that featured a lacy witch's hat and beautiful green crystal jewels for Erica's graduation gift. Erica has followed this play and the music since she was in the 6th grade. When the curtain was raised, she was overcome with emotion and started crying. Tia Nancy, you will never know how much this meant to her!

We dined at the "Macaroni Grill" before the play. They have paper on the tables that allow you to doodle while you are waiting for your dinner.

Nancy, Linda, and Monica. Sisters whom mean the world to me. I know that I would be lost without them. They are lucky that they are so much thinner than I because don't you think that I am prettier than they are? I also know that I have a better personality and I am the most humble out of the three of us.

Erica posing between her beautiful cousins, Katie and Angela. I really wish that we could spend more time together.

Linda, Nancy and Erica racing across the street trying to get to the Capitol Theater safely.

After the play, Nancy led us to the Stage Door where we waited for the cast to come out. They were ALL so gracious and posed for pictures with us. This is the actress who played Glinda. She was the cutest character.

This is the actor who played the Wizard posing with Erica. Nancy recently saw him on an episode of "Golden Girls".

This is the actress who played Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. Her voice was amazing. She was personable and informed us that she had got her start in opera. What a powerhouse!

Who knows? Maybe someday our very own Erica will be able to play Elphaba! Thanks again, Nancy, for giving Erica a "WICKED" day like Somewhere Over the Rainbow!

If Erica has any pull when she is Elphaba, I would like to play the part of the professor who turns into a goat....or a flying monkey
