Good-bye to Elliot - Feb. 4, 2008 - Jan.31, 2009

One of the love of our lives was tragically taken from us too soon. Elliot was born on Superbowl Sunday and we buried him on Superbowl Sunday in my sister Linda's backyard beneath a group of scrub oak trees. His full name was Father Elliot Love Choffel. He was named after our Priest because he was all black and had a white collar. Craig said it was because he was little and "yippy" like Father Elliot. His middle name was Love because that is what he was all about. He made all of us so very happy and he has left a hole in our heart that can never be filled. Thanks for all of the love and making us smile, sweet Elliot. We will never forget you!

It was such a challenge to get a picture that showed how cute he was because he was so black. He was the softest and most cuddly pup.

Oh, you were so cute!

Resting after a romp in the leaves.

Hanging out with sister Polly. Polly didn't like him at first but Elliot eventually won her over with his charming personality and good looks. Polly shook the entire week after he died.

This is where Elliot slept every night, between Craig and I.

We have been thinking about you during such a hard time, I just didn't get a chance to comment, sorry for the loss of little Elliot.
