We attended the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade today. As always, it never disappoints. Craig and Patrick stood in line for 30 minutes with the leprechauns for their cups of coffee.
I thought this float was funny. The wives of the band rode in convertible cars with signs that read, "We are the wives of the Disgusting Brothers".
This float was named, "The Sweet Potato Queens". I think they were called that because they stuff with sweet potatoes.
Celtic Dancers. There were many! I felt compelled to join them in a traditional "jig" but I wasn't wearing the proper foundations, if you know what I mean.
Bishop Wester for the Salt Lake Diocese. I wonder what he gave up for lent.
One of the many bagpipe bands. I LOVE the sound of bagpipes and I can't resist the site of a handsome man wearing a skirt. It nearly KILT me!
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
An Irish Prayer
