Duning

I thought that I would post some pics of the beautiful sand dunes in St. Anthony, Idaho. It is the poor mans' Riviera. Our family visits there about 4 times a year. That is not nearly enough times as you can see how gorgeous it is.

The Grand Tetons can be seen from our campground. They are about one hour away. That is just how Grand they are.

The dunes are quite large as they dwarf 3 riders.

There is a lake not far from the campground that we swim in daily. This is our little drip castle community.

More of the 23 square miles of sand dunes.

Another nice day.

Patrick and Polly floating on an air mattress. Princess Polly just loves to float. You can literally see her smiling. She loves to dig in the sand, too. Oddly enough, on the first day there she consumed large quantities of sand which caused her horrific stomach distress. She laid in the shower and moaned, couldn't get comfortable, and then would throw up piles of sand all night. In the morning she pooped sand. I don't know what she was thinking but she never did it again on the other trips to the lake.

Those are not mountains in the background, they are sand dunes!

Frankie doesn't love the sand and water as much as Polly. He is just happy to be off a leash and run free.

Polly loves to swim. I had to watch her constantly because I was afraid that she would tire and drown.

My photography does not do any justice to the beautiful sunsets.

Erica gifted "The Sand Castle" decal to her Father for Father's Day.

Craig's hobby is working on this sand rail. All of his hard work paid off with zero break-downs this trip.

We wish that we could move to Idaho to be nearer to this wonderful place.

This looks like a postcard to me. One more week and we'll be back!
